Trying New Things...

Good evening,

This week has been full of trying new techniques! Here is my first attempt at a Gatefold card. It was very fun to make and I'm so glad that I'm venturing out and trying new ideas! I used the Shy Tilda and Kissing Edwin-Standing Mini-Magnolias. They were the perfect size for this card. I also created a dot background, which is another new technique that I tried out.

Here's it is:

An close-up of Edwin loving Tilda:

Here's the inside and a close-up of the right panel:

And another view of the front of the card:

Recipe:
Mini Magnolia-licious stamps from www.magnoliastamps.us

Stamped on: Neenah cream cardstock

Cardstock: Stampin' Up: More Mustard, Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla
Designer Paper: Prima Papers, Melody Collection

I used the Peony Nestabilities die to create the shape on the front of the card.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my new creation!!
